FY21 HY2

The percentage for this performance measure had the highest trend compared to previous years because of the increased participation by this target population of formerly incarcerated parents. Residents of Gale House have a required stay at the facility of several months; as a result, participation is consistent compared to the Detention Center.

FY20 HFY2

The percentage of participants are lower because classes at the Detention Center were cancelled in mid-February.

Action Plan

FY21 - HY1

  • The Parenting From Afar classes will be facilitated at Gale Recovery House for female participants who are released from the Detention Center, beginning the second half of FY21.
  • The FIIP program is also exploring facilitating the Parenting From Afar classes at Well Recovery House for male participants.
  • Program staff will on engaging class participants to maintain attendance of the class sessions.
