What is this about?
The average cost of dwellings in Jersey is measured quarterly by the Jersey House Price Index. This index measures the combined weighted average price of one and two-bedroom flats and two, three and four-bedroom houses. The indicator tracks the annual change in the Index, using a baseline of 100 in 2002.
In 2022, the Jersey House Price Index was 11% higher than in 2021. The last three years have seen the biggest rises in the Index for over a decade.
