What is this about?
This data is collected using the Jersey Opinions and Lifestyle Survey, which surveys a representative sample of adults in Jersey. Respondents are asked ‘How do you rate the range of sporting events and activities available in Jersey?', and can answer: very good; good; poor; or, very poor. The indicator is calculated by adding the number of very good and good responses, and dividing by the total responses.
In 2022 77% of adults rated Jersey’s sporting events and activities as either good or very good. A breakdown of the overall figures for 2022 shows that 56% of Islanders rated sporting events and activities as good and 21% said very good.
