What is this about?
This indicator tracks overall consumption of road fuel (unleaded petrol and diesel) per person in Jersey. Since 2015 consumption per person has dropped by about 14%, reflecting improved fuel efficiency and changes to more sustainable forms of transport. Consumption of petrol and diesel per person in 2019 was 423 litres whereas in 2020 this decreased by 12% to 368 litres per person due to the effect of the Covid pandemic.
