September 2021 update: Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the majority of programs reporting this data point were unable to conduct surveys as planned (offices were closed, volunteers to help conduct surveys were unavailable, etc.). As such, the data reported here is reflective of only one program's reporting. The hope is the data collection will be more robust in FY21-22. - AM
August 2020: This is a new performance measure for FY19-20. Given the COVID-19 pandemic, some funded programs were unable to collect this data as anticipated and hope to start collecting this data in FY20-21.

- Good Neighbor Emergency Assistance: Healthy Food Vouchers and Emergency Rent & Utility program
- Heartland of Story County: Senior Commodity Food Boxes
- Lutheran Services in Iowa: Crisis Childcare
- MICA: Food Pantry
- The Salvation Army: Emergency Rent & Utility program ("homelessness prevention") & Food Pantry
- University Community Childcare: Comfort Zone (childcare for mildly ill children).
Other emergency basic service providers, such as ACCESS, The Bridge Home, and YSS Rosedale shelters survey their clients on different measures. As such, these are reflected elsewhere on United Way's Scorecard
