What Works
We know that by improving our neighborhoods we can improve our assessed values and that's an indicator we are improving our quality of housing. Quality housing can continue to go hand in hand with affordable housing. We want to maintain our affordability but, also improve our local housing stock. Studies show people are attracted to communities for a variety of reasons, one of which, is quality and affordable housing.
Strategy
We have a multi-pronged approach to increasing assessed value. Our first step is creating a Neighborhood Development Coalition.
