Story Behind the Curve

"A better ability to cope" due to mental health services means different things for different programs. For example, for participants in ACCESS' Court Watch program it means better understanding their legal rights and feeling empowered to action. For participants in NAMI Family & Peer Education programs, it means having learned critical strategies to take care of their child with mental illness. For youth in YSS' Mentoring program, it means having a heightened understanding and belief that underage use of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs is wrong.
