Data Discussion
ACES are a wide-ranging and quite common set of experiences, with more than two-thirds of the population report experiencing one ACE, and nearly a quarter having experienced three or more. In consideration of this, it unclear how to implement and specifically target the offsetting of ACEs without starting with implementation of trauma-informed practices, or move toward the other end of the spectrum with intensive treatment service provision. While there are many practices that may offset the long-term effects of ACEs, there is no proven singular set of practices that can be measured to meet these requests.
