This measure shows:

Among women ages 15-20 who had a live birth, the percentage that were provided a most effective or moderately effective method (MMEC) of contraception within 3 and 60 days of delivery.

The MMEC rate is an intermediate outcome measure, and it is desirable to have a high % of women who are provided the most effective or moderately effective contraceptive method during the postpartum period.
