CMCA's data governance plan includes steps to ensure the availability of high-quality data.  One of the first steps in this plan is ensuring that all pertinent programs enter member data in a central database so that it can be aggregated for agency planning, reporting, and decision-making purposes.  As each program's data-entry process is developed, this measure will show the percentage of programs serving individuals and families that enter member data into the central database

CMCA depends on having high-quality data for planning and decision-making purposes.  It is important that internal data be accurate, complete, timely, and non-duplicated.  Due to funding requirements, most CMCA programs enter data into multiple data and reporting systems, which increases our need for systems and processes that can help ensure high-quality data.  While some of CMCA's programs enter member data into our central database, there are several programs that currently do not.  Developing data entry processes for these programs is critical to ensuring CMCA is able to accurately report on services provided and so that staff are able to have a comprehensive understanding of the individual's or family's available supports and resources.
