Story Behind the Curve
2019 was a normal year prior to COVID-19. Majority of the events in 2019 were monthly occurences, with extra events held throughout the year. In 2020, COVID-19 restrictions put all of the events on hold to stop the spread of the virus. 2021 saw the lifting of many restrictions. Outdoor events were being held and Lincoln County Health Department was able to secure a spot at these events to educate and connect citizens to many health resources.

Due to COVID-19 responses by many health organizations, partner involvement was limited at this time.
What Works
The only cause of decrease in outreach events was due to COVID-19 restrictions. Without the restrictions, the initiative works well.
Strategy
Create or attend as many events as possible within the county and educate and connect the community to health resources.
