The "Story Behind the Curve" helps us understand the causes and forces at that work that explain the data behind how many new insuracnce clients signed up and the resources the agency plans to commit to address the health issue.

- Lack of understanding and knowledge of insurance from individuals.
2022 Progress Update:
- The program was set to being in 2022, but due to flooding there is no data for new insurance clients at this time. Data collection will begin once MATCH has access to their office in McDowell County Health Department.
2023 Progress Update:
- In 2023, Match was able to connect with more than 1300 people who learned something new about insurance at more than 40 events that they were able to attend. The space for MATCH at the McDowell Health Department has been repaired and we hope to have MATCH on-site again by summer of 2024.
