In early 2020, our Health Educator implemented the CATCH my Breath course through Alexander County Schools. With the emergence of Covid-19 and changes in school accessibility, the courses were placed on hold until the fall of 2022. In the winter of 2022, our Health Educator was able to offer CATCH My Breath to 41 students at West Alexander Middle School. In 2023, 40 students were served by CATCH in the middle schools, and 372 Alexander Central High School Students were served by the SUD prevention presentation developed by the SUD Coalition.
