Story Behind the Curve: CATCH My Breath 

• During the 4 weeks that this program was taught, multiple facts were presented about the negative effects of e-cigarettes/vapes.
• In March 2023, at the end of the 4 sessions we presented the students with a post-survey to complete. As a result of this survey, we obtained this data point.
• While most students were engaged in the presentation(s) and showed interest in what we were discussing there were a few students at each school who seemed uninterested in this course. We believe this is where the missing 2% come in. 
• Seeing that 98% were able to identify that vapes can cause harm is an amazing data point that speaks of the success of the program and the overall engagement of the students with the lessons and materials.
• Due to the Parents' Bill of Rights that was passed in August of 2023, we were unable to administer the survey to students when we taught in October 2023 to be able to collect data, which is why we do not have data to report for HY2 2023.
