Our mobile medical unit was heavily used for COVID19 events in various areas and venues throughout the county following the pandemic, however we then moved many events indoors after restrictions were eased. This unit allows the health department to provide care to those who may face barriers of inaccessibility due to transportation, chronic conditions, work hours, lack of childcare, etc.

• The ability to offer off-site care, outside of normal operating hours, and in rural communities to better assist the underserved populations.
• More staff to help support mobile unit

• Expand off-site services that meet the needs of the underserved citizens by utilizing the mobile medical trailer
• Increased awareness of service through county community partners
• Partnership with local venues and/or housing communities to bring care to local residents
• Hire more staff or pay increase to current staff to help utilize mobile unit (nurses, registration staff, interpreters, providers, etc.)
