Story Behind the Measure

The "Story Behind the Curve" helps us understand the causes and forces at work that explain the data behind the number of awareness campaign items released.

Throughout this CHIP cycle, we will release awareness campaigns and prevention information into our community to raise awareness on mental health disorders and issues, reduce stigma surrounding mental health, and seek to educate the public through these means. Part of how we will measure the success of these events is by how many people attend.

[How Much] What's Helping What We Do? These are the positive forces at work in our strategy/ program that influence how much we do or how well we do it.

  • Popularity of social media and reposting event flyers

  • Great network to share event flyers and info with via email

  • Interest from local news outlets (paper, radio, tv) to share event information

[How Much] What's Hurting What We Do? These are the negative forces at work in our strategy/program that influence how much we do or how well we do it.

  • People are constantly bombarded with things they can attend

  • People are extremely busy

  • Lack of transportation to events, the day/time may not work for all, etc
