Description:  Positive trend.  The average annual level of PM 2.5 air pollution in Arkansas decreased from 11.8 micrograms per cubic meter to 8.9 micrograms of cubic meter between 2011 and 2019.

Notes: The year displayed is the year of measurement, not the year the report was published.  The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has primary annual average standards of 12.0 micrograms per cubic meter.  This measures the avereage daily density of fine particulate matter of 2.5 microns or less, which is fine enough to be inhaled.
