Description: Generally positive trend. The number of trauma-related visits to the emergency room increased between 2012 (~251,500 visits) and 2016 (~287,600 visits), but steadily decreased through 2020 (~222,700 visits). The number of trauma-realted visits to the emergency room increased in 2021 to 237,946.
