Story Behind the Curve
The number of clients seen by the Duplin County Health Department's primary care clinic lessened from 1045 to 882 between 2022 and 2023. As noted previously, the health department did open it's STD/Family Planning clinic in 2023 which did affect the primary care clinic's numbers by reducing the amount of STD testing and family planning physicals seen in that clinic.
