The Partnership for Children and Families facilitates the Wyman’s Teen Outreach Program (TOP) within Lee County.
What Works
Wyman’s Teen Outreach Program (TOP) promotes the positive development of adolescents through curriculum-guided, interactive group discussions; positive adult guidance and support; and community service learning. The TOP Curriculum is focused on key topics related to adolescent health and development, including building social, emotional, and life skills; developing a positive sense of self; and connecting with others. Wyman’s Teen Outreach Program® (TOP®) empowers teens with the tools and opportunities needed to avoid risky behaviors – like dropout and teen pregnancy – and become leaders with a powerful vision for their future.
- TOP (Teen Outreach Program®) groups are implemented with 7th-12th graders.
- Teens become involved in meaningful community service learning and are encouraged to complete at least 20 hours each.
- End of year celebrations, field trips, and more fun!
