Story Behind the Curve
- As stated previously at the end of the 4 sessions we gave the students a post-survey to complete, and this is where we obtained this data point.
- While 22% does not seem like a big number, 73% reported that they had never used these products, and 5% reported they had not stopped using E-Cigarettes/Vapes in March 2023.
- With that being said, out of the 127 students that reported vape use, 103 of those reported that the information taught in this course caused them to cease e-cigarette use in March 2023. This for us is a great success.
- Due to the Parents' Bill of Rights that was passed in August of 2023, we were unable to administer the survey to students when we taught in October 2023 to be able to collect data, which is why we do not have data to report for HY2 2023.
