Story Behind the Curve
This program was first implemented in 2019 by the ACHD Health Educator to the senior center during monthly birthday lunches. The program was successful and grew in 2020, but was put on hold in 2021 2022 due to COVID-19 preventing in-person education. The program began again in 2023 when a new health educator was hired and was able to go into the senior center.
