Data Description and Source

Description: Variable but generally negative trend.  Among non-Hispanic Black males, heart disease mortality rates increase from 335.6 per 100,000 population to 355.0 per 100,000 between 2012 and 2015.  The mortality rate decreased to 294.2 per 100,000 in 2018, before increasing to 352.5 per 100,000 population in 2021.
