Description: Variable and generally negative trend.  Overall diabetes mortality in Arkansas has increased from 24.5 per 100,000 population in 2012 to 31.4 per 100,000 population in 2021.

Diabetes mortality rates among non-Hispanic Black males and females are much higher than among non-Hispanic White males and females.  Diabetes mortality rates per 100,000 population increased among all groups between 2012 and 2021.
