Description: Negative trend. Obesity among all Arkansas adults increased between 2011 and 2022, from 30.7% to 37.6%.
During this period, obesity rates in Arkansas were consistently higher for non-Hispanic Blacks compared to non-Hispanic Whites. Among Hispanics, obesity rates remained low except during 2012-2013. In 2022, the rate for Hispanics (30.3%) exceeded the rate for non-Hispanic whites (36.3%), while it remained highest among non-Hispanic black (44.1%).
