Description: Stroke mortality rates in Arkansas declined earlier in the decade, falling from 49.1 deaths per 100,000 population in 2013 to 40.7 in 2019. Rates then rose to 49.9 in 2021 before declining again in 2022 and 2023. Throughout the decade, stroke mortality rates in Arkansas consistently remained higher than the national average in the United States.
