Description: Variable but generally stable trend. The stroke mortality rates for Arkansas have decreased over the years, while consistently remaining much higher than the rates of United States. In Arkansas, the rate decreased from 49.1 per 100,000 population in 2012 to 40.7 per 100,000 in 2019, before increasing to 49.9 per 100,000 population in 2021.  Throughout the last decade, Arkansas rates of stroke mortality has remained higher that the United States.
