Description: Negative trend. The diabetes mortality rate in Arkansas increased from 24.5 per 100,000 population in 2012 to 39.8 per 100,000 in 2019, before decreasing to 31.4 per 100,000 in 2021. Like many other chronic disease mortality rates, Arkansas diabetes mortality rates are higher than the national average.
