Description:  Negative trend. Unintentional injury related mortality rate in Arkansas decreased slowly until 2013 before increasing continuously through 2017. Arkansas rates stayed higher than the rates of United States for many years until they converged starting in 2017. In 2021, both Arkansas and United State rates were, 65.8 per 100,000 and 64.7 per 100,000, respectively.
