Description: Negative trend. Drug-related mortality rates in Arkansas have remained lower when compared to the United States. However, the rates in Arkansas have been rapidly increasing from 13.1 per 100,000 population in 2012 to 22.3 per 100,000 population in 2021. This trend is seen nationally, as well.
