New employees to DHHS receive a New Employee Orientation (NEO) that highlights the department's values, employee well-being initiatives, organization structure, and employee resources. 30 days after participation in NEO, employees receive a survey that measures the following indicators:
- Receiving support
- Resources and tools
- Job expectations and duties
- Welcoming team
- Importance to team
Results of are based on a 5 point likert scare with 5 being the best and 1 being the worst.
