Story Behind the Curve
The number 5,000 represents the number of doses we agreed on initially purchasing with opioid settlement funds in 2022 and again in 2023. We have not distributed all the doses we purchased which is what the trend shows.
The numbers do represent an increase in the number of doses of Narcan distributed from 2022-2023. This indicates that there are more doses of Narcan in our Johnston County community in 2023 than in 2022.
