WCDPHE Community Health Workers work to promote health in the community, especially among the Latino community. Yoga Classes, is a safe space where CHW can provide access to physical activity, education, and offer resources to participants.

What Works
CHW are trusted member of the community they serve. This trusting relationship enables the worker to serve as a link between promoting health and the community to facilitate access to services (e.g. physical activity). Partnerships among organizations are key to increase access and is fundamental on the program success.
