Story Behind the Curve
At the beginning of the year, we scaled back trainings due to lay offs. In February, we held no SW trainings in order to regroup. With the upcoming pilot of the new Black doula training, we expect to see a continued uptick in doulas reporting improved skills due to SW trainings.
Partners
We worked with partners (UCSF, Tulsa Birth Initiative) to provide no cost training for doulas and are seeing higher numbers of doulas who feel their birthwork skills are improving due to SW affiliated trainings.
