As we continue to grow the public health workforce pipeline, students are an important audience to engage. Beginning in May 2024, members of our staff began regularly presenting to the NC Governor's Page Program, an audience of high school students, several times a month to share more about what public health does. As we develop consistent messaging for public health, we expect to have more engagement with students through presentations. 

We are in the midst of developing resources for all staff to utilize that give a consistent voice to public health and what we do. Once they are finalized, we anticipate being able to better track when our staff give presentations to students.
