Partners
Long term partners include those agencies who help distribute the magazine. They represent "Point of Sale" contact with readers and are in a good position to promote our reader surveys. They are also instrumental in delivering the reader survey feedback campaigns.
What Works
Our reader survey feedback campaigns are our key tool in generating survey responses. We ask a distribution outlet (eg. South Court Primary Care Clinic)
to run an incentive program for survey respondents. Clients who complete a survey to provide their feedback on Tx! Mag receive a giveaway pack of makeup, USB sticks, clothing or other items. This worked really well.
Overall, survey respondents regularly express interest in the $100 prize incentive for responding to the survey. We also receive positive responses when we incorporate survey feedback into future magazine content.
Action Plan
We intend to continue Tx! Mag's reader feedback survey campaigns, running at least two per year.
We also plan to continue telling readers how we have used their feedback in ongoing development of the magazine. This will encourage readers to feel more ownership over the content of the magazine.
