this data represents the number of Dubuque youth who took the Iowa Youth Survey and responded to the question "I feel safe at school" with the answer "strongly agree" or "agree." Although the percent fo students who perceived school as a safe place dropped by 8% from 2005-2008, it has steadily grown in the following years and now indicates that 89% of studnets feel safe at school.
