Definition: Adults who reported that they are overweight or obese in a telephone survey conducted by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and Florida Department of Health Division of Community Health Promotion.. The CDC defines being overweight as having a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 25-29.9, and being obese as having a BMI of 30 or over.
