Priority Strategy: To increase family awareness about child abuse and prevention, increase the scale or implementation of the evidence-based practice of home-based visits
Action Steps:
- Identify and map all home visiting programs including THV
- Promote home visiting programs
- Identify number of allowed families (capacity) and announce vacancies
- Participate in the home visiting Community Advisory Board subcommittee of SB6 coalition
- Share ongoing continuous quality improvement efforts
- Advocate for additional funding to expand capacity

- Show need (Correlation to CAN and mental health) to the need to those who provide MH services ie. Behavioral Health Services, Family Counseling Services, Women Shelter, NAMI, Bayview, MHM.
- Engage potential MH partners who have a role to play
- Where feasible collaborate to leverage funding to increase services identified to have the greater impact.
