This data is collected using the Jersey Opinions and Lifestyle Survey (JOLS), which surveys a representative sample of adults in Jersey. Participants are asked whether the cost of different health services, including dental appointments, stops them from going and can answer no; yes - sometimes; yes - often; or, don't know.
In 2022, 49% of respondents indicated that the cost of dental appointments in Jersey stopped them from going sometimes or often.
