Having a highly skilled and educated workforce is key to driving productivity and developing a workforce fit for Jersey's future needs. The majority of higher education students in Jersey are provided for off-Island, with the largest majority of these studying in the UK. This indicator provides an estimate of the total number of Jerey domiciled students attending UK universities each year.

Students are also able to access courses overseas and there are increasing opportunities on-Island for students to study at higher levels.
