This data is collected using the Jersey Opinions and Lifestyle Survey (JOLS) which surveys a representative sample of adults in Jersey.
Overall, 72% of adults in Jersey are either very satisfied or fairly satisfied with the Island's capital as a place to visit, but only 16% are very satisfied. This indicator deliberately focuses on the very satisfied responses because its purpose is to stimulate thinking about how to drive improvements to St Helier as a place to visit.
The JOLS question used for this indicator was first introduced in 2015 so limited data is available, but going forward it will be asked on a regular basis in order to monitor changes over time.
