This indicator provides essential context for this storyboard by tracking changes to the Island's population. The main measure of Jersey’s population is provided by the census, which was last held in March 2021. The 2021 figure is published in the 2021 Census results. Between each census, Statistics Jersey produce annual population estimates - taking the census population figure as a baseline and then estimating the change in population each year using administrative data and census information on migration patterns in and out of Jersey.
