What is this about?

Published for the first time in 2013, ‘Jersey’s Better Life Index’ aims to provide a measure of the Island’s “well-being”. The index looks at this both from an overall perspective and also at a more detailed level. Jersey’s overall Better Life Index of 6.6 (out of 10) ranks Jersey 19th out of 41 nations. This score places Jersey slightly above the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) average but below the United Kingdom and France.
