Logan County has a target value of 0 overdose deaths. The rate increase was twofold from 2014 to 2015, and nearly twofold from 2015 to 2016, jumping from 8 to 14 overdose deaths. In 2017, the rate again increased to 15, and later decreased to 10 overdose deaths in 2018.
Opiate abuse is negatively impacting Logan County. Formal treatment options are limited both locally and regionally.

- Establish standard infrastructure between Medical and Mental/Behavioral Health systems
