The target value for HY1 2020 medication disposal is 77 lbs. Since 2017, the amount disposed has declined, from 417 lbs., to 333 lbs. in 2018, and 123 lbs. in 2019.
Logan County residents are not using available drug disposal opportunities.
Local Conditions: Local home health agencies have inconsistent safe disposal practice recommendations for patients/families. In turn, Logan County residents are unaware of sites to dispose of unused opiate medications.
