Story Behind the Curve
The Family Resource academy ACEs trainings were virtual during FY21 due to COVID-19 restrictions. During the 1st half of the year, although 19 people signed up for these trainings, only 8 attended even with ensuring two email reminders were given. After the training, a questionnaire was emailed to those participants inquiring if they had an increased awareness of ACES. Only 5 of the 8 who attending the trainings responded to the email, and 100% of those who responded reported an increase in awareness. To ensure the percentage of those who respond would increase during the 2nd half of the year, a poll was created to be taken by the participants prior to leaving the virtual training to ensure everyone had a chance to answer. As a result, 100% of the trainees during the 2nd half of the year responded and all reported that they had an increased awareness of ACEs as a result of the training. |
