Story Behind the Curve
The previous coordinator did not follow through with gathering this data. The new program coordinator will collect this information for each mentee from the Caroline County Public Schools.

Throughout the year the program consistently partnered with: Caroline County Health Department, Chesapeake College,. Mid-Shore Behavioral Health, Wraparound MD, Federalsburg Lions Club, Town of Denton, Shore United Health, Knights of Columbus, Caroline County Public Schools, Caroline County Council of Arts and Chesapeake Culinary Center.
What Works
The program coordinator and mentors will explain the importance of school attendance for success in school.

The goal is to maintain communication with the guidance counselors in the schools to track school progress for mentees. The previous coordinator and mentors were not tracking this information. As our new coordinator takes over the program will make sure we are receiving this data and information.
