Story Behind the Curve

FY24: At the beginning of the FY the program was struggling to recruit and retain mentors, however things improved significantly during the second half of the year which you can see if you compare the Half Year data. This new model appears to be working better so we anticipate more stability in this metric in future Fiscal Years.

  • Looked to collaborate with existing organizations in Annapolis that seek volunteer opportunites for their members

  • Outreach to new potential partners that could be a good source of local mentors 
  • Seek funding for mentor stipends
