An increase in data is expected during the months when Onslow County Schools are in session, as this is our primary channel for reaching students to participate in the program. Despite outreach efforts, several community partners have been resistant to hosting or implementing the program in their setting.

In the 2024–2025 school year, we saw a dip in participants; however, during that time OCHD trained 110 community partners to facilitate the program. The expectation is that these trained partners are now bringing the program into their own settings, expanding reach beyond our direct delivery. Due to sessions being held on different dates and the possibility of student absences, only students who complete all four program sessions are included in this data set. 

Data for the 2025–2026 school year reflects an increase compared to the previous school year, largely attributed to the establishment of new partnerships. A seasonal decline is anticipated in subsequent reporting periods due to school closures during the summer months.
