Measure Definition
This measure currently shows the weighted average of health facilities, EMS, and human services. A weighted average means the calculation takes into account the importance of each number in a data set. Child care, DHHS employees (combined), medical cannabis, and other have processes in place to gather this data, and are currently collecting baseline data. This captures how much time it takes between DHHS staff receiving fingerprint data to when they make the initial determination (e.g., sending a letter). This data only includes initial applications and not renewal applications. Renewal applications will also be included in the total number of completed applications.
Story Behind the Curve
Data for child care was not available until March 2023. The averge between July 2022 and February 2023 included totals for 3 programs but was divided by all 4. The data from April 2023 and forward is a more accurate reflection of the number of days.
